Giallo Sogno is a collection of ten songs released by Bacco Baccanels between 2006 and 2011.
It’s an album in which the joy and nervousness of the first two albums give way to disenchantment and reflections on life: the only hope left is love.
The album is dedicated to Stefano Dal Bosco, a dear friend of Bacco.

Giallo Sogno songs background
- Broda: A powerful song about the end of youth.
- Giallo Sogno: Dedicated to mourning a lost friend, evoked by his yellow motorbike, called “Yellow Dream.” It gives the album its title.
- Sempre No: Among the lighter songs, it discusses the relationship between a man and a woman.
- Pensami: A poignant and passionate love song in the milonga style.
- Aria lieve: An escape from reality and a search for direction in oceans of uncertainty.
- Cielo Blu: A story of a beautiful day in difficult times.
- Calma: A reflection on life’s difficulties.
- Spina: A heartfelt search for help.
- Fatto per te: More on the relationship between a man and a woman.
- Mi sento bene: A hysterical reflection on not feeling well.
Special thanks
Thanks to Claudia Orio for her continued support, to Jaco Matik for the idea for the “Urania”-style cover and for the idea for “Spina,” to Davide D’Ortona for the musical collaboration, and to the fans who kept me motivated during the torrid days of doubt.
Technicalities
The album is made exclusively with vocals, in short, by recording one track over another. All the arrangements were made by ear, with a fairly large number of tracks (ten or more).
The author, here too, still strives to emulate the sounds and arrangements typical of instrumental music.
