On December 13th, Suonova present a new version of their vocal music show, “Un racconto di Natale” (A Christmas Tale), at Paolo and Davide Disarò Auditorium in Cesano Maderno.
Un racconto di Natale, as we recall, is a show in which a mysterious Christmas spirit with a haunting name visits composers and artists over time, inspiring them to write Christmas songs that are then sung by the vocal group.
The performance venue is unique: a church whose original structure dates back to the 12th century.
The main part of the building, erected in 1665 at the behest of Bartolomeo Arese, is extensively frescoed, while the part facing the square is a 19th-century extension.
The ancient church, deconsecrated in the 1920s, was given a new lease of life in 2008, transformed into a modern multipurpose facility called the “Auditorium Paolo e Davide Disarò.”
