Vox Italica in Cornaredo

On September 26, 2025, the second show on the history of Italian music will take place: Vox Italica. A rich menu and a beautiful theater: La Filanda, in Cornaredo, is definitely worth seeing.

It’s a building from 1772, when it was constructed as a steam-powered silk mill, a silk spinning factory, which was very popular in the area (including in Bollate).

Closed after World War II, it now houses the auditorium, library, and other municipal offices.

It has been beautifully renovated and retains many original features.

It’s one of those suburban venues that rivals the more famous venues in central Milan.

The acoustics are very good, the PA system is excellent, and the sound engineer has been very helpful.

It was truly a wonderful evening.
